The spotlight was on the South African fashion designers at this year’s State of the Nation Address (SONA).
Invited guests and di/gnitaries dress to the nines to honour the auspicious occasion where President Cyril Ramaphosa delivered his SONA.
Many of the invited guests chose to dress in locally designed garments. This year’s SONA had an interesting twist with Proudly South African, the country’s ‘buy local’ advocacy organisation leveraging this important moment on the national calendar by elevating and supporting South Africa’s fashion sector.
